Show Run, chili cookoff to benefit veterans The George E. Wahlen Veterans Home fun run and chili cook-off is scheduled to take place at 10a.m. Oct 8. Participants can choose to run a 5K or walk a mile, which will begin at the veterans home at 1000 N. 1200 West and end in the First United Methodist Church parking lot. All proceeds go to the George E. Wahlen Veteran's Home. Participants may register online at active.com or by visiting www.fumcogdenut. org.
