Show Marriott-Slaterville History August 2011 FEMA. An article in the Standard Examiner, dated August 10, 2011, stated that "Federal funds on their way." Rebecca Nichols gave out the Senior Health Connection Newsletter for August, which gave information about the importance of foot care. She talked briefly about the things about which seniors need to be concerned. Bits and Pieces Marii Warburton, daughter of Shane and Malia Warburton was born on August 4, 2011. Kade Jacob Peterson, son of Jacob and Shae Peterson was born August 21, 2011. Veterinarian Kathy Borrett Capell, has donated her services to care for "Andy," a bay quarter horse who is the central figure on a local 4H Club, "For the Love of Andy." The horse was donated by Andy Fishburn, a well- known quarter horse trainer at Heritage Ranch in Harrisville. Carl Hodson celebrated his 90* birthday on August 4, with an open house at the Marriott Park on August 6, 2011. He was featured in an article in the Standard Examiner, dated August 2, 2011. He was called a "true pioneer," and told his story of growing up on a farm in Marriott, his farm life after marriage, and later events in his life. C. J. Oram, a Weber State senior football guard, was featured in a story about the University's football program in an article in the Standard Examiner, dated August 3, 2011. 172 |
