Show The Pioneer Post Volume XII Issue 5 Marriott-Slaterville City Newsletter May 2011 Mayor's Message The Easter Egg Hunt was a fun activity in April. It was exciting to see all the kids enjoy a brief moment of sunshine this spring. As you know, the city is on flood watch. Flooding will be an ongoing problem this spring as a large part of the city is in the flood plain. Thanks to the many volunteers who have and will assist during this disaster. I also appreciate the Mt. Fort Stake volunteers, and the Swanson Foundation for donating sandbags. Keep aware of flooding and do what you can to protect life and property. The city is working with county officials to coordinate resources in these floods, and our CERT team is ready to respond.
