Show Marriott-Slaterville History April 2011 Bits and Pieces Reva Jones DeVries died on April 2, 2011, at the age of 86. LaRee Jessop Elmer Shurtliff celebrated her 95th birthday at a family hosted open house on April 9, 2011, in the Marriott-Slaterville L.D.S. Cultural Hall. She has 9 children, 37 grandchildren and 108 great-grandchildren. The April 28, 2011, edition of the Standard Examiner reported that Zachary Spencer was one of three local students who received a $2,500 Service Before Self Scholarship from Rotary of Ogden and the Stewart Education Foundation. Zack collected school supplies for Head Start and the homeless shelter, among other charitable acts. 162 |
