At 28, Mr. Hall has earned a master of business administration degreee from Brigham Young University and has served in the Peace Corps in Brazil. The father of two children, he lives with his family in Roy. His wife is the former Jeanne Nowak, who was Miss Weber State College of 1968. Mr. Hall’s duties as alumni director will have a direct effect on each alumnus of Weber State. His plans are to improve each role of the association to make it more members of operating the the alumni, office and efficiently within a budget. Mr. Hall explains his goals for the association as including the updating of the files of alumni, involving the alumni in student activities, encouraging financial support of the college by alumni, and improving communication through “Comment.” ‘As of the present moment, our files contain only 12,000 of a possible 100,000 names of Weber State’alumni,’’ he explains. “The college should be in touch with each member of the alumni on a regular basis.”’ ‘‘We want the alumni to relive NEW EXECUTIVE director of the Weber State College Alumni Association is Allan E. Other Homecoming activities sponsored by the association were the traditional Feline Follies, College he parade, and alumni banquet. Chosen as homecoming queen for 1973 was Nancy Garr, with Konnie Kotter, first attendant, and Jan Faunce, second attendant. Gov. Calvin L. Rampton rode in a vintage model auto in the ‘73 of the homecoming parade, along with Rep. Gunn McKay and assorted bounty and local officials. An unusual feature of homecoming this year was the dedication of the new Social Science Building on the Weber State campus. Gov. Rampton was featured speaker at the dedication, which opened homecoming week activities. The building has been in use since the opening of fall quarter this year, and offers classrooms, laboratories and offices. I Five outstanding members of the Kent Beachman.
