Both men have made valuable contributions in business and service. Lorenzo N. Hoopes Oakland California, is senior vice president of 1975, from the University of Utah and the Doctor of Humanities, Oklahoma Christian College, 1977. He and his wife, Stella, have one son and one daughter. Mr. Hoopes serves on a number of board of directors and is chairman of the Foundation for American Agriculture and radio station KOIT; vice-chairman of Farm Foundation; member of the boards of Safeway Stores, Inc. He started his Lowell Berry B.S. degree in 1954 from the Univer- Foundation, sity of Utah. Mr. Child enjoys playing golf, swimming and skiing and is a mem- Cross of North California. Child William H. Child is manager of R.C. Willey Company, Syracuse. Over the past twenty eight years, Phoenix Fraternity and was a member of the Board of Control. A native of Syracuse, Mr. Child was married to Darline Willey and they were the parents of four children. Following her death he married Patricia Wright. They have three daughters and oneson. Five new members selected for board Five new members have been selected to serve on the WSC Alumni Board for a two year term. They are Richard R.. Speechly, Jeffrey C. Flamm, Jerry Lindquist, Donna M. Roberts, and Loma Ledingham Rich. Tim Morris continues the second year of his two-year term as resident with Kent Peterson and ie Favero as first and second vice president. Richard R. Speechly is currently a psychiatric social worker for Weber County Mental Health, working in the youth area en alternative and directing a program called Renaissance Project, for seriously delinquent youth. “In an effort to reduce the number of youth in Utah who have been inappropiately placed at the Youth Development Center, Weber County Mental Health has developed a residential program, housed in the old superin- endent’s home Development group, at Center, individual therapy.” ' Mr. Speechly the Youth providing and graduated family , from WSC im 1970 and received a MS. degree in Psychology from Utah State Univesity. Flamm, an agent con- sultant for Financial Consultants of America, was raised in Ogden and graduated from WSC in 1977. While at WSC he served as Associated Students of WSC vice president and resident and was president of the DSSA. He also served as a member of the Institutional Council and Alumni Board, Big Sky Athletic Committee, Union Building Policy Board and Chamber of Commerce. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Asian Studies. Mr. Flamm served an LDS mission to Japan. He is married to the former Nancy Ellsworth and they are the parents of oneson. Jerry Lindquist is a faculty mem- ber at WSC in the Teacher Education Department. She was an elementary teacher in Ogden Ciiy, Weber County and Salt Lake City Schools and also taught in Germany for the U.S. Army schools. Mrs. Lindquist was an instructor at Utah State Univesity. She graduated from Weber State, receiving her B.S. from Brigham Young University and an M.S. and Doctor of Education degree from Utah State University.
