BIRCH is manager of Employee Development for Glendale Federal Savings and Loan Association, the nation’s 5th largest savings and loan, in Glendale, Calif. He was formerly manager of Personnel Development with United California Bank. He is a 1970 graduate of WSC. His wife, the former Beverly Rudd, is also a former student and is a savings counselor with a competitor, Home Savings and Loan. CONSTANCE C. HEIN has opened a chiropractic office in Wheeling, Ill., after graduating from the National College of Chiropractic, Chicago, Ill. She was a school teacher and x-ray technician before completiing her training. She daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ogden, and is a WSC graduate. He was regional sales manager of the Silvey Companies in Kansas City, MO., worked on the Alaska pipe line anhd has been training manager for Craig Food Industries. He attended WSC. L. DAVID BURNINGHAM received a juris doctor (J.D.) degree from Western State University College of Law of San Diego at its Sixth Annual Commencement Exercises in May. CRAIG OGAN has won two gold awards in the Utah Advertising Federation's Gold Award competition for 1977. JAY C. SWENSON has been promoted to district manager for World Book-Childcraft; in Green River, Wyo. Wyo., He is a ‘71 sociology graduate from WSC. His wife is the former Valjean Jones and they are the parents of five children.
