Newman, class of 1969, has been named president of the Weber County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. He was listed in ‘““‘Who’s Who” in Texas in 1974-75, but returned to Utah where he is an obstetrician with the Ogden Clinic, He is author of a nationally syndicated newspaper medical column, “For Women Only,” and is a member of the Weber County, Utah and American Medical Associations. 1970's Janice Kay Bonnemort, class of 1970, received a master of arts degree in organizational communication from Brigham Young University. She is presently employed at St. Benedict’s Hospital, Ogden. Lt. Michael P. Pluim, class of 1971, was recently assigned to an extended Mediterranean deployment with the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 264. His unit is embarked aboard the amphibious assalt ship USS Saipan. His wife is the former Colleen Hidgson of Syracuse. Stephen D. Kirkwood, class of 1971, is assistant vice president and manager of the Fashion Place Office of First Security Bank of Utah, N.A. He also serves as a member of the Utah National Guard. Heinz J. Bruehl, class of 1971, is a graduate of the Life Underwriters Training Council, and is presently an associate realtor at First Security Realtor. After receiving a degree in accounting and finance from WSC he graduated from the Credit Personnel School at the University of Wisconsin. Steven Gray, class of 1974, has been promoted from detective to corporal in the Bountiful City Police Department. He has been on the force for the past five years. Rich Debiec, class of 1974, was chosen as an assistant football coach at Conrad Weiser High School, Robesonia, Pennsylvania. In his first season this year his team was undefeated in 10 games to capture the InterCounty Football League championship. He plans to seek employment in Ogden this summer. Henry Dominguez, class of 1976 - Automotive Engineering Technology, has recently published a book entitled “‘The Ford Agency, A Pictorial History,” published by Classic Motorbooks International, Osceola, Wis. $12.95. He is presently working as a designer for Amigo Sales Inc., in Saginaw, Michigan, but plans to publish a second book on the history of General Motors by 1983, and do a book on Henry Ford's possibly later wife, Eleanor Clay Ford. He graduated in May from University of Idaho College of Law where he served as student editor of the Idaho Law Review. He also published an article for which he received the Scribes Award from the American Society of Writers on Legal Subjects. He is married to Sherri Lynne Taylor of Farr West. They have three children. Michael J. Kerins, class of 1978, is undergoing primary flight training at the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, Texas. He joined the Navy in January of 1981, and will train with jets, helicopters and multiengine aircraft to become a naval aviator. William L. Taylor, class of 1979, has been promoted to Marine Cpl., serving with Headquarters and Service Battalion at Marine Corps Base, Camp Butler, on Okin- 1980's Leigh Charles Van Dyke, class of 1981, has been accepted for admission in the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. The curriculum concentrates on world business, modern languages, and international studies, training men and women for global careers. William A. Stockdale, class of 1981, has been appointed timeway loan officer in the main Ogden office of First Security Bank. He joined First Security as a management trainee in 1977 and has been commercial loan mortgage loan and operations officer prior to this appointment. He makes his home in Shaker Heights, Illinois. Gordon J. Lundy, class of 1977, received an M.S. degree in 1979 from University of Houston, and was recently promoted to Tuboscope’s Technical manager of AMF Publications Department in Houston. Prior to working for Tuboscope, he worked for NASA Johnson Space Center designing and writing astronaut training manuals and operations manuals for various components of the Space Shuttle. His wife, Katherine, works for Brown & Root, Inc., as a CAD/CAM Technical Designer. They have one son, John, who is in sixth grade. Kulmer, class of 1971, is executive vice president and chief operating officer of the A & K Railroad Material, Inc., and has been elected to the board of directors of Ogden First Federal Savings and Loan Association. After his graduation from WSC he attended Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and is Advisory presently serving on the WSC Council to the School of Business and is “Director of the Harvard Alumni Association of Utah. Barney B. Chapman, class of 1972, has been named vice president and chief of staff for the Federal Employees Credit Union. He also serves on the advisory board for the WSC Skills Center. Dr. Edward G. Robinson, class of 1974, has joined the staff of Children’s Medical Cena ter, Phoenix after successfully completing three-year rotating residency in three Phoenix-area hospitals.
