He graduated from Weber State College, served in the Air Force in England during World War II, had been employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 10 years, and for the past 19 years was an electronics inspecter-at_Hill Air Force Base. & * e é we x= ae %. prs He was a member of the Ogden 47th LDS Ward. FRANDSEN, 53, Roy, died Oct. 28, at a local hospital after an extended illness. He had been assistant chief clerk for the Ogden Union Railroad and Depot Co., and chief clerk to the terminal superintendent for the Southern Pacific Co. He retired this year after 34 years of service. During World War II he served with the Marine Corps and attended Weber State College. Surviving are his wife, the former Renee Hansen, two sons and three daughters. yr Log”? climber inT. VAN DRIMMELEN SR.., 84, Ogden, died Oct. 17 in a local hospital following a short illness. He came to the United States from the Netherlands with his parents in 1905, settling in Ogden. He attended Weber Academy. He worked for the Southern Pacific and reurred as a trigues children. ov IN MEMORIAM MILTON T. BROWN, 65, Warren, died Oct. 6 of a heart attack. He had been a farmer and dairyman. He graduated from Weber Academy, Brigham Young University and Utah State University. Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Hancock, one son and two daughters. J. RANDALL ENCE, 24, Kaysville, died in a truck accident Oct. 2. He was a 1970 graduate of Davis High School and had attended WSC. He was a member of the Kaysville LDS Third Ward and an employee of Hatch Co, He is survived by his mother, Barbara Anderson Ence, one brother and three sisters. storekeeper in 1957. A charter member of the Southern Pacific Male Chorus, he had sung in the Ogden Tabernacle Choir. He was active in dramatic and musical organizations. He is survived by his wife, the former Christina G. Van Batenburg, four sons and two daughters. GARNETT LITTLEFIELD, 71, Salt Lake City, died in a Salt Lake hospital of complications following surgery. He was a retired professor of civil engineering from the University of Utah and a former WSC professor. At the time of his death, he was treasurer of Wasatch Gem Society. He was a graduate of Weber College, U. of U. and did graduate work at Texas A & M and Purdue University. Survivors include his wife, the former Bernice Blackburn, one daughter and one son. MABEL L. ELSWOOD, 79, Ogden, died Nov. 1 of a heart attack. She was a lifelong resident of Ogden and attended Weber Academy. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and active in the LDS Church. Two husbands, Milo Howard Lowder and Sidney Williams Elswood, preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons. BOB L. WINN, 49, Ogden, died Oct. 21 of heart feailure. He had been a salesman for Sears Roebuck and Co. before retiring. She graduated cum laude from WSC and Utah State University and taught in Weber County Schools. She is survived by her husband, Bill Linn and one son. EARLY Correction Ogden, Utah, KATIE LYNN PETERSON STEVENSON, 80, Ogden, a Utah civic worker for many years, died Nov. 30 at her home after a long illness. She graduated from Granite High School and attended the University of Utah. She taught school at Monroe Junior High School. She had served as a president of the Utah State Legislative Council and was a former president of WSC Faculty Women and was also president of Childhood Education International and the Children’s Hour Club. DEAN A. PETERSON, 63, Provo, died Oct. 4 of cancer. He was an administrative assistant to the President of BYU. He had taught at North Sanpete High School, Dixie College, WSC, BYU. He received his B.S. degree at BYU: M.S. and Ed.D. at the University of Southern California. He is survived by his wife, the former Lyle Evans, one son and five daughters.
