Hall, who has served as Weber State College Alumni executive director for the past six and one-half years, has accepted a position with Ballet West in Salt Lake City as Executive Vice President and General Manager. He replaces Dr. Quinn McKay, a former WSC Dean of the School of Business. Ballet West is widely regarded as the third best ballet company in the country. Offices are located in the refurbished Capitol Theatre. In addition to performances in Utah, Ballet West is also the resident ballet company for Colorado and Arizona. Mr. Hall will be responsible for a 2.2 million budget and overall responsibility for the operation of the company. He was selected from 100 candidates across the country. While at Weber Mr. Hall received two national Alumni Awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Higher Education. Mr. Hall served as President and Producer of ACT (formerly Alumni Community Theatre and last year becoming A Community Theatre, dropping affiliation with the college). The group has presented fourteen productions while he has held that position. As Alumni director, Mr. Hall has worked with six alumni presidents and numerous alumni board of director members and has served on a number of committees including the Athletic Board, Homecoming Committee, Commencement Committee and the Greater Ogden Area Educational Arts Council. A 1969 WSC graduate, Mr. Hall was a Peace Corps volunteer in Brazil with his wife, the former Jeanne Nowak. He earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from Brigham Young University in 1972.
