The Alumni Association has been involved with | very successful events, such as: Homecoming; The dedication of the Farrell R. Art Building and the Reed Ki y The rewriting of our Constitution; Beginning new chapters of the Alumni Association. Raising funds dedicated to funding the finest institution that we hae all come to love and respect; and For some time now we have been raising money WSC President, Rodney H. On behalf of the Alumni Board, I would like to thank President Brady for the endless hours he contributes to our cause, and a special ‘‘hats off” The alumni association has taken on responsibilities for the largest private scholarship program in the history of the college. Ten scholarships of $7,000 each have been awarded to outstanding high school seniors from Northern Utah. They are awarded in the names of five WSC presidents: David O. McKay, Henry Aldous Dixon, William P. Miller, Aaron W. . Tracy and Louis $7,000 is given F. Also Weber State a ALUMNI — geare® James B. Harvey Memorial Scholarship A memorial scholarship was recently established in the name of former WSC Psychology Professor, James B. Harvey, by his widow, Hilda Harvey. “Interest income from the award will be used to provide an annual scholarship to a student pursuing a degree in fields related to psychology in the name of Mr. Harvey,” said Dean Hurst, vice-president for college relations. “The Harveys have always been very supportive of the college,” Hurst said. ‘‘After he retired they moved away, but all that time they kept closely in touch with us and returned often to school functions,” he continued.
