As a new year unfolds for the WSC Alumni Assn. the board members enthusiastically await new opportunities to promote the excellence that exists in many forms at WSC We hope you will join us in spreading the word about our fine school and support WSC’s pursuit of excellence also. How? 1. Read Comment. It is a good way to keep informed about the college so you can brag about it at meetings, luncheons, parties, or to your families and frends. 2. Keep your eyes open on WSC’s behalf. Submit names of outstanding potential students to the Office of College Relations. 3. Support the college financially: through the development fund, presidential scholarships, or to the school or department of your choice. 4. Support the work of your Alumni Assn. by contribution to the Alumni House -- either financially or with your time by serving on a committee. 5. Submit suggestions of how we can support and promote the college. 6. Invile faculty members or Speakers’ Bureau volunteers to give presentations to civic groups in your: community z. Altend college-sponsored events. 8. Participate in Homecoming. 9. Contact your governmental representatives asking for their support of bills and programs aiding higher education. 10.
