Show Saturday, January 6, 1934. Have had a buisy morning to get work done and lunch over. Attended a meeting at the Federal Building on one of the CWA wemons projects that of starting 17 classes in cooking to be held twice a week or more for five weeks. Employing 38 wemon to demonstrate cooking better cheap foods also advertizeing home products. It will mean lots of work. As we will have to solicite the food for deostrations. Retire early have had a full day as they say. Sunday, January 7, 1934. Am rather lazy this AM so remained in bed late & missed Fast meeting something I seldom do. Dr and I attended the funeral services of Mary Thomas a dear friend 87 years old. Cleone assisted in the music. I prepared dinner late this afternoon. |
