Show Saturday, August 4, 1934. This AM a buisy one. I fryed eight chikcens and pakced food stuff enough for about fifteen of us for three days. Mr John Henery Evans who is writing a biography of Drs father CC Rich went to Bear Lake with Oscar & Oertel. Dr and I took a couple of the girls. He Mr. Evan shad lunch with us before we started. It was a beautifuld rive over we arrived in nice time and had secured our old home cabin which houses ten of our party. Myrene & family (except Joe & the baby) took a cabin and Royal & Cleone took one however our cabinw as where all ate. Mrs. Chris Flygare was our guest and Mrs David Eccles Royals Mother theirs. Sunday, August 5, 1934. Lakota Bear Lake. Last night every body was visiting Many of the Rich family had arrived for the reunion and they with friends seemed to have a good time. J Golden Kimball was a guest & speaker on the Prog. today. We had a very nice meeting this morning at which he spoke. At our table for dinner we had Mr. John H Evans. Mrs Chris Flygare. Mrs. David Eccles. Royal Cleone & family Oscar Oertel & family and in all twenty sat down. Our dinner was enjoyed very much O yes we also had Dr Pomeroy & Mary Ann instead of Mr. Evans. If I remember right Not so many as usual at the reunion but some who had not been before Ashbel & Mary Ann, Oertel Oscar & family. A very nice time. About 250 in attendance. |
