The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Thursday, January 18, 1934. Mistake- Dr and I called to see Sister Thorsterson who will be buried today. She was a very fine old lady and a good LDS member. Talked over phone to Sister Louise Y Robinson regarding Community Chest which is being organized I have been invited to act on the council attended a luncheon and meeting of the same at Hotel Ben Loman. Did some shopping. Did up home work prepared lunch. Frank Rich came up with Dr for lunch. At four PM. I met with Community Chest Committee did not get through until six PM Mr S Jeppsen and I were named to consider budget for Boy Scouts also Dental Clinic also appointed with Howard Jenkins on family service Dept. Did three pr of curtains for office. Recd a letter from Govener Henery Blood. Friday, January 19, 1934. After considering Govener Bloods letter asking me to serve on a State Committee for Liquor Central decided I was too buisy to accept & so notified him or will. |
