Show Thursday, April 12, 1934. Have been buisy cleaning all day as I expect guests for a week. Dr and Mrs. Bickel of Phila. an old classmate of Drs. He is Dr graduated from Jefferson Medical 41 yr this May. They arrived at four oclock and we are very happy to have them visite us. I prepared a nice dinner which was enjoyed after a drive up the canon. Friday, April 13, 1934. This AM Dr & Mrs. Bickel and Dr & I drove to Salt Lake City for the day. We went thro temple Grounds with Joseph Peery as guide also listened to organ recital in the Tabernacle. Had a nice lunch at Utah Hotel then visited church office Bldg & the old home of the past church Pres. of LDS church. then the Capitol all very interesting to them. Arrived home about six PM had lunch & retired. A day well spent. |
