Show Thursday, October 25, 1934. A beautiful day. Spent until 2 PM at home just doing things. Visited Camp N of D U Pioneers at Mrs. OH Hortogs. A paper given on Trees of Utah. There is a greater variety of kinds of trees in our state (Utah) than any other state. Few native trees. Walked home eleven blocks and enjoyed it. Mrs. Greenband called this evening. Dr played some golf today. Had a card from Dr HC Hancock saying he was admitted to College of Surgeons. A letter from Avon. Offical word was given to start work on Pine View Dam yesterday. Friday, October 26, 1934. Beautiful Day. Did House work this fornoon Gladys Knowles cleaned the woodwork in kitchen. I prepared lunch for Dr. Went to Acacia at Mrs. Lillian Soderbergs. Maud Porter gave a travel talk on her trip to the South West. Mesa Verde was described as very interesting. Called at Mrs. Chas. Bartons Tea with Maud Porter. Spent the evening reading. |
