Show Monday, February 5, 1934. Like Spring today. Did hand laundry this AM did up house worka nd cooked dinner for Dr. I had lunch at Hotel Ben Loman with Medical Aug Mrs Rose Widtse gave a lecture on Ecnomics. How to tell good foods in can goods etc also talked on patient medacine. Worked rest of the day on Cleones book. Blanch and Junior were in this evening. Had a letter from Avon. Was ask to go out and speak for Community Chest. Refused as I am so buisy at present. Tuesday, February 6, 1934. I attended the Relief Society of the Twelfth Ward. The room was well filled. At a quarter after one PM the visiting teachers met and Sister Lettie Burton gave the topic Self Control. It was well given. The Theology lesson was given by Ida Hinckley. Subject The responsibility of conveying the truth to others. I walked home with Sisters Holther who came in home with me and we talked over prospect we officers for the Daughters of Pineers of Weber Co. She had been ask to consider taking the Presidency. She and I have served on the DUP Board for many years. This evening I worked on Cleones memory book. |
