Show Thursday, November 22, 1934. The girls did not go out to Marys as it was a long drive so late at night so the went near by the Clift Hotel & stayed at the California. I went out shopping alone this AM and enjoyed it a lot. Met the girls Mary, Cleone, Myrene, Cloteel at one oclock we had lunch at such a nice place up town in one of the big stores. Taylor met us we all had a nice time togather. Mary Taylor Thair & Cloteel went out to supper togather and Dr, Cleone, Myrene & I went to the Grand Opera to see Lottie Leman in Madam Butterfly. It was very fine. We Dr & I went out home with Taylor & Mary to San Matao. The girls stayed at the Clift all night. Friday, November 23, 1934. San Matao. Mary brought Dr & I nite San Francisco. We met the girls at the Hotel later in the day, as they were out shopping early. Dr & Dr Thair drove over to San Quintan and went through the prison. Taylor, Thair & Dr had lunch togather before they went. Cloteel did not come in town from the Post as she is buisy packing so the girls and I have shopped all day and had a fine time. Mary and Taylor are out to a big party tonight given by Harold & Mrs. Peery. The rest of us met at the Hotel Clift. Mildred & Grover Rich called also Mrs. & Mr John Culley. She took dinner with us. Very nice to meet old friends. |
