Show Wednesday, May 30, 1934. Dr Ezra Rich is in Bear Lake took flowers up for us, to the Paris Cemetary where grandfather & Grandmother Rich are buried. Had I been feeling better we would have gone up too, and then to my dear mtohers grave in Montepleri. Dr & I drove to the grave of Edward Rich Eccles had he lived these seven years old now. However bad we feel we have much to be thankful for his is the only death in our family of 7 children & 20 grand children. Thursday, May 31, 1934. cooler. Had a card from Myrene written from nauvoo Ill & one from Richmond Ma. Have preserved three cases of Strawberries today. Mrs. Rose Nielson helped me. Wrote letters this evening. Dr & Dr Jr operated this eve. Wrote State Chariman of Republicans Byron D Anderson that I would accept as a member of the Pre Convention Platform Committee. The Republican Convention will meet July 18 in Salt Lake City. |
