Show Saturday, April 14, 1934. Did not get up early. Took our friends to Logan today a beautiful ride. Spent most of the day showing them about the city. Dr Bickell & wife expressed themselves as having enjoyed the day. Lunch and to bed. Dr & I called at the Dee home. Sunday, April 15, 1934. this AM we ate breakfast late. Mrs. Bickell and I called at the McGregor home. At 12 noon Dr & I attended Mrs. Dees funeral in the Tabernacle. DO McKay was the main speaker. Mrs Johan Emmett also spok. I prepared dinner and at 3 PM attended Sister Leons McGregars funeral and was one of the speakers. We went for a drive with our guests & this evening they went with us to 12 Ward Sacrament meeting. Brother Don B Colton of Eastern States Mission was the speaker. Dr & Mrs. Bickell had never attended LDS church before. they spoke very favorable of it all. We all had a nice dinner with Cleone & Royal. Called on Junior & Blanch. |
