Show Friday, January 12, 1934. Went to Acacia Club luncheon at Lettie Burtons. Martha Cooley gave a book review of Spotted Egal a history of the Sious Indians written by one of their tribe a graduate of Columbia University. The Sious Tribe were first called the Lakota later named by the French Sioux. I wrote letters to my sister Lucile, Bertha Cozzens Mrs Christian Jensen and others. Saturday, January 13, 1934. Have done a lot of phoneing on the Wemons Project Programme spent most of the forenoon Cleaned up the house good. Dr and I went to the Egyptian Voltaire by George Areless in picture Very good. |
