The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Monday, October 1, 1934. Have had a buisy day on the telephone, calling & being called on Relief Society work. Did some reading. Did some laundry. This evening Dr and I attended the first of a series of lectures on the Book of Mormon given by Dr Leland Monsen of Weber College Mrs Rose Nielson went with us. Very good. Dr & I have determined we shall read the Book of Mormon togather. Joe and Myrene came in late and visited with us until 12 oclock. Was called to Community Chest meeting (reorganization) did not go. Have been quite buisy on phone today. Tuesday, October 2, 1934. Dr and I called at the JM Browning home we also attended funeral services of Mrs. Browning held in the 18 Ward. The Bishop Wm J Terry was the only speaker. Cleone, & quartett played. Mrs. Browning has been our friend for 40 years she was a very fine women. Martha Cooley called, and Mrs. Valbor Wheelwright. Junior & Blanch called this evening. Dr Frank Baker is not well. We hear from him quite often by letter. |
