Show Sunday, August 26, 1934. Dr was out during the night to a case of brutal wife beating. He had beat her for three hours until the neighbors called in the police & they called Dr. I prepared a nice dinner for Junior and Pop. Junior went to Bear Lake at three PM. I have read some to day but I not being use to quite for so long I seem to go to sleep. so havent done so much. Dr and I went to 18 Ward Sacrament meeting Rosco Grover of KSL was the speaker Branches of the Sons of Pioneer of Utah are beign organized in Weber Co. DR Roberts chairman. Monday, August 27, 1934. I spent the forenoon at the Community Welfare with the other RS presidents of Weber Co dividing used cloths for our organization. This afternoon was at a meeting of the four Stake RS Magazine Agents to prepare for an exhibit to be displayed in Newberrys Store for this cannin week in connection with Chamber of Commerce project. Came home at six PM quite tired. Prepared hot dinner Dr and I alone for the first time in weeks. Dosent seem just right not to have several at the table. But we shall enjoy a little quiet now I am sure. He is a dear sweetheart to be with and I appreciate him. |
