Show Thursday, December 20, 1934. Avon called this AM saying Charles was over the mumps and Carlen was coming down with them. We told her to come down and bring the children anyway. For Xmas would not be much with out them they have been coming ever since they were married. Dr and I attended a dinner & lecture given at Dicks Caf by the County Medical Group. Dr Bartlett gave a talk on Alaska and showed moving pictures he had taken while on his trip there. This afternoon assisted in wrapping 60 gifts for old people at the County Infirmary. The 4 Stake RS do this each Xmas. Friday, December 21, 1934. Went down town to get a few more presents as we are remembering sixty five with each of our own family & some friends. This afternoon Myrene, Cleone & I attended at Country Club given by Mrs. Geo Glen & Mrs. Geo Glen Jr. Worked late this evening wrapping parcels. |
