Show Tuesday, May 8, 1934. I prepared breakfast for the girls Avon, Ester & Sis Maw & Dr. The girls went to Salt Lake with Myrene to spend the day and attend the Grand Opera by Chicago people tonight. They invited me to go but as the Releif Societies of the four Stakes met togather in the Tabernacle for a Convention I went there. Mrs Leah Wiltsoe was our speaker. The singing was very good General Board Members Annie W. Cannon on Sister Empy were with us also and made remarks. Did not sleep until the girls came home which was one PM. Wednesday, May 9, 1934. We had breakfast late. The girls Avon & friends went out to lunch with Mrs Barton a school friend. This afternoon I went to a tea at Maud & Claria Pattersons. The girls went also. This eve the went to Cleones. I went to RS Board meetings. Dr called for me and we went to hear Male chorus of 200 voices in the Tabernacle. Retire late. |
