Show Tuesday, January 16, 1934. Had a luncheon at Hotel Ben Loman with the Community Chest directors. Telephone Pres. Louise Y. Robinson regarding our going into the chest as a Relief Society. No favorable answer. Did some shopping made four pairs of office curtains. Dr read aloud this evening & I worked on some Neddle point. With my house work and no help I am a very buisy lady these days. If I hadent such a good patient husband I could not do so much public work. Wednesday, January 17, 1934. Myrene and I called at the home of Mrs. Patrick Healy Sen who will be buried this afternoon. She has lived close by us for many years. I attended the service for her in the 12 Ward. Went to RS Board meeting this evening Dr & Myrene went to Dr Arthur Beeleys lecture. |
