Show Saturday, May 12, 1934. Had a man clean up back yard & wash windows. The excutive Committee of Womens Project ERFA met here this afternoon. Mrs. Rushner, Mrs Katherine Wright at Miss Hazel Bingham of the Farm Bureau. We talked over sewing project for 45 wemen, Recreation & crafts 20, Nurses 17 Canning 12 none of them will likely be accepted, But we have been ask to place 100 wemon from Relief Rolls. Dr & I went to Seminary exercises in the Tabernacle 78 graduated. Adam S Benon spoke. Sunday, May 13, 1934. I have had a very enjoyable Mothers Day. Had telegrams from Mary in San Matao and Oertel & family from Columbus Ohio. Dr & I had dinner at Cleones. I went to Sunday School a nice programme was given for Mothers. Dr talked to High Priests Quurum in the 5 Ward and Junior to the Elders Quorum in 5 Ward. Royal gave me some beautiful flowers, Junior a box of chocolates. Dr and I attended Sacrament meeting in our Ward. Bro Barns talked on Geanealogy. I did some writing this evening to Oertel. Cleone & I called to see Marie Umber who is dying of cancar. She was in Drs office 20 years. A very fine woman. |
