Show Friday, February 23, 1934. Have spent today at Community Service. Six hours. Assorting clothing Inviting Mrs. Rivers to be a member of CWA. Committee with Mrs. Joseph Wright & I. Am quite tired so retire early. Dr & I went out for lunch I prepared dinner. Saturday, February 24, 1934. Sletp late. Dr got up rather early gave me a surprise which I never before had from him in our 40 yr of married life disposed of all the dirty dishes which were made yesterday. I found them all clean when I went in the kitchen. Did up bedroom work went down town did some shopping called at CC & came home with Dr & prepared a nice lunhc. This afternoon wrote to Thair, & Mary. Mrs. Addie Saunders called on buisness. At noon Myrene & Cleone called. Cleone & I worked on memory book until 12 PM. Dr read during evening retired late. |
