Show Friday, August 24, 1934. Mrs. Lillian Soderberg and I spent the forenoon at the Larkin funeral parlor taking care of flowers for Bro & Sister McFarlands family. Oertel and Cleoen out to lunch with Daisy Whitlock. Dr and I attend the McFarlands funeral at the Tabernacle. Apostle DOMcKay not about to be there but other church officials there. Acacia Club members took charge of the flowers. Very many and beautiful. Telephoned Avon Royal Cleone & Myrene here late Oscar came home from Salt Lake very late. Wednesday, August 29, 1934. A buisy morning on the phone on RS buisness. A meeting here with Mrs. Pond of RS Board nad all the Ward RS Presidents on the Magazine Drive. Gladys Knowles cleaned five rooms for me. Blanch and the childrencame home form their summer vacation all look fine. Mr & Mrs. WmTreeseder Dr & I attended a lecture on Mexico by Dr Middelton. Charles Emmett 25 yr old a son of Joan Emmett was killed while driving a truck over the rail road tracks. Aunt Em Rich called Distributed used cloths to five Wards today. Am tired & dont feel too good. |
