During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday, April 10, 1934. Have spent most of the day down town. Did not go to Relief Society conference. Spent a while at Community Service. Avon has been shopping all day. Avon and June wont go back until in the morning so she has been is buisy in town, buying some new furniture. This evening we had a nice dinner with Cleone and Royal. Wednesday, April 11, 1934. Avon and June went home this AM. Mrs Covery came from Salt Lake to go with them. I had a nice fish breakfast with hot biscuits. This afternoon Cleone and I spent at a party in the canon at a party given by Mrs. Minnie Sherman. this evening I attended RS Board meeting. Mrs. Thomas D Dee died. She was a very fine woman and a friend of many years to us. Mrs. Leona McGregor died rather suddenly in the nite had done two temple sessions yesterday. A very good woman Pres of the 18 Ward RS and I have worked with her many years, and thought much of her. |
