Show Monday, June 11, 1934. I made gooseberries & strawberrie jam. Had a card from Myrene in Wash. DC she is having a fine time went to church & bore her testimony. Her babies are fine and have good care. Mary went up to Ward Armstrongs for fish dinner. He was a very fine friend of hers when they were in High School. this afternoon I attended a birthday party for Sister Grew. She was 86 yr old. About 25 friends were present. She is a dear little lady and has been at our home many times to eat with us. She is always happy & cheerful and a very good LDS Saint. Tuesday, June 12, 1934. I attended the 18 Ward Relief Society had a nice lunch with them. Called on Mrs Archie Bowman. Mary went up to Cleones for dinner. Sister Delphia H Cragun died today. She was a very fine woman and had been president of the 9 th Ward Mt. Ogden Stake for eight years. She died very suddenly. |
