Show Sunday, October 21, 1934. Dr and I did with out breakfast. Dr went to the hospital to make calls, took me over to Sunday School. Elias Nielson had charge of the class which I visited subject God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ two separate beings but one in spirit etc. Truth was another subject. Dr went to Layton Dr and I had a very good chicken dinner with Cleone and family. At 2 PM I went to Relief Society union meeting in 12 Ward. There was a good attendance. Prof. Leland Monsen gave us a talk on Social Service of our Savior and during Ancient times. This evening Dr & I went to Sacrament meeting 18 Ward. Monday, October 22, 1934. Have spent today going thro Relief Society files. It is twelve years since I became President of Mount Ogden Stake Relief Society during this time I had received much corrospondance etc which is now of no use so called it all out. Have spent some time writing up my diary or rearanging it as I have had such a buisy part three months. This evening Dr and I went to Mr. Monsons B of M class. Had soemthing to eat and I called for my neighbor Mrs. Folkman and took her to see the show The Barretts of Wimple Street. Very good. Dr stayed home and read. |
