Show Saturday, December 8, 1934. I have spent today at home. This evening I cooked a nice dinner and Dr Ezra & Annie ate with us and spent the evening. After they left Dr & I read a chapter of Grandfather Richs history. Which is being written by John H Evans of SLC. This chap is telling of his first trip to Cal in 1849. He had many hardships crossing the Desert etc Southern Route. I am quite tired after a very buisy day. Sunday, December 9, 1934. Dr and I had a nice turkey dinner with Royal & Cleone & family. Royals birhday. He surely looks fine. I believe he is 47 years old today. I went to Relief Society Union meeting had charge in presidents department made a report on the stake party. Dr and I called at the Lindquist home this AM. he CJA Lindquist died several days ago. Dr also went to the funeral held in the Tabernacle. Said it was very fine. Dr also went to High Priest meeting. Pres D O McKay was the speaker. Dr has had a buisy day. Junior is home with a cold. I attended Sacrament meeting tonight Programme given by Weber College. I wrote to Dr & Mrs. Royal Hendricks. |
