Show Marriott-Slaterville History February 2010 Lambert regarding combining our court with Farr West's court. It is possible that this might put Farr West over their case limit, which would require the court changed to a different class. A letter has been sent to the court administrator office asking permission to combine with Farr West, but no reply has yet been received. Mr. Morris reported to the council that as of now when the reconstruction of 400 North is going out to bid is not known. Stimulus money is coming available so WACO is anticipating the possibility of getting stimulus money to help with the funding. Starting Monday, February 22, 2010, 1200 South will be under construction for the final items and the sidewalks. The work of Scott VanLeeuwen on transportation meetings is appreciated. He attended a meeting recently on Legacy Highway going further north than just 12*1 Street Pot holes are found after each winter's damage. They will be repaired as weather permits. If one is missed, please notify the city office. A community Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Slaterville Park. It is for children 1-8, and the Easter Bunny will make an appearance. It is sponsored by the Les Olson company, Operation Happy Kids, and the City. UDOT and the Federal Highway Administration initiated an Environmental Impact Statement to study and make a decision on a potential transportation corridor in western Davis and Weber Counties. The public was encouraged to attend any of the public open houses from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The one held in our area was at the West Weber Elementary School, 4178 West 900 South, West Weber, on February 25, 2010. Bits and Pieces Three five-generation pictures of Fawn Slater, her son Lane Slater, together with three generations of posterity, were featured in the Standard Examiner on February 4, 2010.
