Show 22 to be honored with Spirit of the American Woman awards Friday By JaNAE FRANCIS Standard-Examiner staff jfrancis@standardnet OGDEN — Nineteen women and three men will be honored Friday at the 27th annual Spirit of the American Woman awards ceremony presented by Your Community Connection. », The free, public event will t&ke place at 7 p.m. Friday in the Allred Theater at Weber State University. The awards are designed for men and women who have overcome barriers or have given of their time and their hearts to change lives. Bob Hunter, CEO of United Way of Northern Utah, will emcee the event. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Le- zlee Snow Monroe and Pizzi- cato Strings and Co. All recipients are from the Top of Utah. They and their respective awards are: Peggy Andrea- sen, Federal Government (IRS); Craig Bielik, Community Service; RaeAnn Chris- tensen, Administrative Assistant; Betty Ann Dearden, In the Spirit of Service Award; Wanda M. Edwards, Federal Government (Hill Air Force Base); Trina Ford, Courage and Commitment; Yvette Garcia, Hope of Tomorrow; Deborah George, Sojourner Truth; Leslie Lovell Herold, Dedication & Determination; Ruth V. Knight, Eagle Spirit; Jodie K. LeBlanc, Phoenix; Nikki LOvell, Founders Award; Audrey Martinez, Adelante Mu- jer; Jane Martinez, Business; Brian Nicholson, Neila C.
