Show On November 18, 2010, Cari Hulet, from UDOT, gave a presentation and update to the City Council. The study shows insufficient growth to justify extension of the proposed road beyond 12*1 Street. The impacts on 12th Street have not been addressed as yet. Further concern about the current plan included President Dennis Ilium's that recommendations had already been in place, and now seem to be disregarded. Ms. Hulet reiterated that they only make plans to the year 2040, and that prior plans can still be used for long-range planning. The Federal Highways has the final decision, and will base it on data and recommendations from UDOT. WACOG has tried to get the road located as on the original plan, but has not been successful. Councilman Scott VanLeeuwen has been attending the UDOT meetings on Legacy Highway, and feels comments are falling on deaf ears. The West Davis Corridor Level One Screening Process evaluated 46 alternatives for their potential to reduce congestion and delay, and narrowed them to 14. The alternatives are being evaluated to assess their potential community and environmental impacts, and the results will be shared at open houses in February 2011, and on line. So the waiting game continues. Events Around and For Us Rabies clinics were held January 9 and 30, and February 6 and 20, 2010, at the Weber County Animal Shelter, 1373 North 750 West.
