The Weber County Chapter of the Red Cross began in December 1915 when a small group of individuals gathered to begin organizing a chapter of the Red Cross. In 1962, the name was changed to the Bonneville chapter, and in 1969, the chapter merged with other chapters in Northern Utah to become the Northern Utah Chapter, with its headquarters located in Ogden, Utah. The scrapbooks range from 1940 to 2003 and highlight some of the important work of the Red Cross. The books include photographs, newspaper clippings, and other materials. |

Show Gal Latin County High School Bozeman, Montana Dear Friends: I would like to tell you a little about our Junior Red Cross. As we all know Red Gross does a lot for every one. In joining the Junior Red Cross we are helping the "big¬ger organization of the Red Cross. This year the Red Cross is teaching us a home nurs¬ing course. Home nursing is helful in many ways. In our school we have a first aid room used by any one who needs first aid in our school. It is equipped for many purposes . In our school almost everyone belongs to the Junior Red Cross. In October we sponsered a drive for the Red Cross. You can give as much as you want. After you have given, you are given a Junior Red Cross membership card and a Red Cross Pin. This year our Junior Red Cross is going to give a Christmas Party for all of the foreign boys and girls of Montana State College. If enough people earn merits, this summer they will be sent to the Red Cross Camp. Not enough people earned merits last year so we were unable to send anyone to the Red Cross Camp. Junior Red Gross is a wonderful club to have, we would like very much to find outpour Junior Red Cross. Your friend, Gay Heck |
