Show Gallatin County High School Bozeman, Montana Dear Friends: I’d like to tell you a little about Gallatin High School. We here at Gallatin are very proud of our school as I image you are proud of yours. Gallatin is not a large school. We have around 600 students attending Gallatin High. Our auditorium will seat around 1000 people. It has a lower floor and also a balcony. We use the auditorium for many of our activities, some of which are Pep assemblies for football and basketball games. We also use it for two of our most entertaing events which are Christmas at Gallatin and the Gallawampus. Christmas at Gallatin is a program consisting of our students singing different Christmas songs. The program usually lasts about two hours. The Gallawampus is a program which consists of the talent of the students. It is reall a variety show, which is held usually on two nights. Our gymnasium is a large room. We use it for basketball games and it will seat around 1000 people. We also use the gym for school dances, which we have quite often. Gallatin High School faces on the Main Street in Bozeman, which is called Main Street. Gallatin High School is a very pretty school at Christmas time as we paint our front windows with Christmas scenes. Many different subject are taught at Gallatin High, such as home economics, Latin, Spanish, Algebra, History, English, Chistory, Typing, Bilogy and plain Gemotery. The teachers of the Gallatin High School are always willing to help us in anything we need help with. They area help and guidance to us through-out our high school years. We are proud to have such nice and friendly teachers. At Gallatin we also have a lunch room, which is served cafeteria style. We pay only 25c for a hot lunch each noon. There are many schools all over Montana. We have several schools here in Bozeman. We have one high school, four elementary schools, one junior high school and we also have a porichial school. We are interested in schools in foreign lands. We would like very much to find out about your schools. Your friend, Gay Heck |
