CHARLIE BUILT UP SRI'S INTERNATIONAL AND COMMERCIAL BUSINESS, OR AS CHARLIE WOULD SAY, HE FOSTERED THE ATTITUDE WHICH ALLOWED THE RESEARCHERS TO DEVELOP THOSE AREAS. So THE BALANCE THAT SRI ENJOYS TODAY BETWEEN BASIC AND APPLIED RESEARCH, BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AND COMMERCIAL WORK, BETWEEN NATIONAL SECURITY AND CONSULTING - THIS BALANCE IS IN LARGE PART DUE TO THE TIRELESS AND ALWAYS GOOD HUMORED EFFORTS OF CHARLIE ANDERSON. FOURTH, CHARLIE IS A PERSON OF ROCK-LIKE INTEGRITY AND HE SET THIS AS THE STANDARD FOR THE ORGANIZATION HE HEADED. SO TONIGHT FOR ALL OF US LET ME SEND TO CHARLIE OUR HEARTFELT THANKS FOR DOING A DIFFICULT JOB WITH GREAT COMPETENCE AND IN A MANNER THAT EXCITES THE ADMIRATION AND RESPECT OF ALL THOSE |
