Show Marriott-Slaterville History April 2014 Sewer pipe being installed from North Ogden The Fugal Project on 17th street Tear-Apart on 12th street Mr. Morris announced that he now works part-time for the City and has taken over the Management of Mulligan's Golf Course. Stanger property Commercial development (Charter school and Tear-Apart) Vitt Property th Martinez property on 17 street Sales tax from John Hansen business Marriott ditch City Council business conducted on April 17, 2014 included the following: Discussion/action on Planning Commission recommendation relating to Zoning Amendment from A-l to ITZ and Subdivision Amendment by Green Apple Estates. Mr. Morris explained the increase in the contract with the Weber County Sheriffs office, which resulted in his salary being reduced to help offset the rising cost. He also announced that Marilyn Draper has been hired to work part-time in the office each day to aid in the increased workload. The Mayor reviewed the quarterly financial report. The Council approved Ordinance 2014-01 adopting a franchise agreement with Syringa. This company is in the process of updating fiber optic lines which run to a cell tower on 1200 W to create more power and faster service for Sprint customers. A Development and Host Fee Agreement for the construction and operation of Tear- Apart was approved in the amount of $1.00 per recycled car at the facility. Grant projects for 2014 were discussed: CDBG funds to install Marriott park parking lot and RAMP funds to install facilities at the 1700 S trail head. Danny Brown gave a report from the Park Committee. |
