SUMMER TENNIS FUN Sponsored by Harrisville and Marriott-Slaterville City Parks and Recreation June, 2014 Harrisville City and Marriott-Slaterville City Parks and Recreation have combined for a Summer of Tennis Fun. This program is for children and adults who wish to learn tennis at the beginning and intermediate levels. Players can learn tennis for recreational fun or to gain the skills to try out for the school tennis team. All lessons will be group lessons. Important information is as follows: Registration Place: Registration Date: Harrisville Tennis Courts Harrisville and Marriott-Slaterville Residents (ONLY) Tues & Wed, April 29 & 30; 5-8pm Open Registration (ALL), Tues & Wed May 6 &7; 5-8pm Late Registration: Tues & Wed, May 13 & 14; 5^7 pm. Cycles/ Lessons: First Cycle: June 2-18; Second Cycle June 23-July 9; Third Cycle: July 14-30. 6 lessons/cycle; each lesson lasts up to 1 hour. Tennis class location: Harrisville Tennis Courts Groupings/Times: Time/ Day Adjustments: Equipment: Cost: Children (ages 10 and under) Lessons are on Mondays and Wednesdays: Ages 5-6 (7:30 am-8:30 am) There will not be a third cycle for this age group. Ages 7-8 (7:30am - 8:30am; Ages 9-10(8:30am-9:30am) Adults (11+) Tuesdays and Thursdays. 7:30am-8:30am; 8:30am-9:30 am According to skill level and number of players, day and time changes may be made. Balls and Rackets furnished for lesson usage, no charge. Bring own water Cost per cycle: $20/1 person; $15/each additional family member (same household); 10% discount if one prepays for all three cycles.
