Show Rex G Fowers September 30,1957 ~ January 22, 2014 SLATERVILLE - Rex G Fowers, 56, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 30, 1957, in Ogden to Mildred Ann Graff and Darrell Fowers. He married his best friend and love of his life, Joeline D. Price, on July 7, 1977 in Ogden. Rexi attended Ben Lomond High School and then worked at I FMC/JBT Aerospace for 351 years. Rex loved and cherished his] family. His grandkids were his life and they could do no wrong in his eyes. He always had a piece of candy to trade for a hug and a kiss from the grandkids. He spread his knowledge of horses, guns, and mechanic skills throughout his entire family. Rex enjoyed boating, skiing, snowmobiling, camping, 4x4 wheeling, hunting, team roping, and rodeos. His passion for team roping and traveling down the rodeo trail brought many great friends and memories to him and his family's lives. Rex is survived by his wife, his son, Daniel (Jennifer) Fowers; daughter, Julie (Keith) Norman; sister, Susan Moore; mother-in-law, Vema J Price; sister-in-law, Julie Sandberg; grandkids, Wylie Ty, Anastasia, and Titan Fowers, Amanda, Dyllan, Dakota, and Gunnar Norman, Mckaybree, Kaydance, and Rodney Joe Price; nephews and nieces, Cody (Krista) Price, Candice Price, John, Jennifer, and Jesse Sandberg, Noa (Julia) Moore, Nathan Moore, Ronald Dennen, and Meaghen (Nate, Devin, Alyssa) Marshall. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kywnn Dallie Fowers; father-in-law Eldon J. Price; brother-in-law, Rodney J. Price; his parents and grandparents. . Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Morgan Cemetery. Duane Thomas John March 8,1926 ~ February 2, 2014 Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Duane Thomas John, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on March 8,1926 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas and Frances Alvord John. He grew up in Ogden and lived there most of his life. He joined the Marine Corps in 1944 and served in World War II. Duane married Sharon Nebeker on September 29, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He started and built a nursery business and a gunsmithing shop in Ogden. Duane also worked as an Engineer for Thoikol, Western Zirconium, and Marquardt. Duane enjoyed skiing, gunsmithing, hunting and working in his nursery with his wife Sharon. Duane is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; sons, Tom John, Fred John, Jeff Farr, Asael Farr, and Phillip Farr; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Frances John and daughter, Annette John.
