This Ordinance amends the zoning map from A-l to C-2P for parcels owned by Mr. Martinez, and it amends the zoning ordinance to repeal certain uses in the vicinity of the railroad tracks under Section 13.06.050 of the Municipal Code. The Planning Commission recommended that this Ordinance be approved. After discussion the City Council voted to pass this Ordinance with one dissenting vote. Miscellaneous items: Mayor Butler said the Trunk-or-Treat totaled about $1,600 in receipts and the City netted about $200 to $400. The menu and catering will be similar to last year. Mayor Butler indicated that everything in the City is going well and road projects are almost finished. Mr. Smout and Mr. Hodson asked if Pres. Ilium had received a response to his letter to Ogden City regarding BDO. Pres. Ilium said he has yet to receive a response. Mr. Slater discussed concerns about flooding on Mill Creek this summer after a storm event. He suggests that those who control the head gate in BDO need to do a better job diverting the water so people don't get flooded. Discussion also continued about beaver dams.
