Its time to clean-up the house, yard, and bam. Get rid of all that junk! To help you spring clean, a dumpster will be placed at Marriott Park and at Slaterville Park between May 3-4. Please put all garbage inside the dumpster, not on the ground. This is a complimentary service, please be considerate of others using the dumpster. No tires or hazardous material please. Summer Tennis Harrisville and Marriott-Slaterville Parks and Recreation are sponsoring a Summer Tennis program. Information is as follows: Dates: June 2 - July 30 (divided into three cycles) Ages: 5 years - Adults Sign-up: Harrisville Tennis Courts Residents: April 29-30 (5pm - 8pm): Residents/ Non residents: May 6-7 (5pm-8pm): Late Registration: May 13-14 (5pm-7pm) Times: All lessons will be taught in the morning, starting at 7:30 am, at the Harrisville Tennis Courts. General Burning Regulations The State of Utah now handles the issuance of burn permits. Weber Fire District will no longer issue burn permits. Burn permits can be obtained from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality: http://www.airqualitv.utah. gov/Compliance/OpenBurnin g /index .htm Burning for yard clean-up can only be done with a burn permit during the open burn window when the National Weather Service clearing index is 500 or greater. No vehicle, trash, rubbish, tires, hazardous material, or petroleum products are to be burned. CITY COUNCIL MEETING THURSDAY, APRIL 17,2014 - 6:30 P.M. The Spring burn permit window is between March 30 and May 30. The fall burn permit period is September 15 and October 30 when approved by the state forester. You cannot obtain a burn permit from the state until the burn window begins. Call the Utah Division of Air Quality at - 801-53 6-4000 for more information.
