Show May 10, 2014 Two gospel choirs at concert MARRIOTT- SLATERVILLE-Two well- known gospel choirs will come together for a concert "All the Glory" set for 7 p.m. tonight at the First United Methodist Church of Ogden, 1339 W. 400 North (one mile east of 1-15, exit 346). Featured will by the Hilltop Gospel Choir, now in its 10th year, and the Calvary Baptist Inspirational Choir. Tickets are $5 each, available at the door or by calling 801-571-5777. Barbara Webb Barrow Barbara Webb Barrow will celebrate her 80th birthday on May 31st. Friends and family are invited to attend an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marriott-Slaterville Cultural Hall. No gifts please. Barbara was born on June 6, 1934 in Jefferson City, MO to Marry Funk and Garland Webb. She moved to Utah in 1944. She graduated from Ogden High. She married Paul Barrow in 1954. He passed away October 3, 2011. She retired from the I.R.S. She has three children, Reed, Scot (Carrie) and Paula (Mark) Moffitt. She has four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. She is a member of the Marriott-Slaterville 1st ward. She enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards, water aerobics, traveling and most of all, time with her grandchildren. There was a dinner in her honor held earlier at the Timbermine Restaurant. |
