The Weber County Chapter of the Red Cross began in December 1915 when a small group of individuals gathered to begin organizing a chapter of the Red Cross. In 1962, the name was changed to the Bonneville chapter, and in 1969, the chapter merged with other chapters in Northern Utah to become the Northern Utah Chapter, with its headquarters located in Ogden, Utah. The scrapbooks range from 1940 to 2003 and highlight some of the important work of the Red Cross. The books include photographs, newspaper clippings, and other materials. |

Show Choice of books to while away the wee hours of the night. For that is when I’ve enjoyed Christopher Morley, and it might have been a long time before I’d discovered him again. I had an unusually pleasant trip. two very interesting Young women, one from So. California and one from Ogden. A Mrs. Lewis whose husband, Major Lewis is in the So. Pacific, and she decided to stay in Ogden working at the supply depot. They were both going east to visit there mother in New York State, both so intelligent and well read. At Chicago I had sevceral hours which I spent at Marshal Field. I had lunch with Walter Ellingson Sr. and visited about ad the Ogden folks whom we forth knew. Son met me, of course, and |
