There are two rows of quilting about 21/2” apart down each front and down either side of the back and one row 8” from shoulder seams across fronts and back. There are two rows of stitching all around the edges of jacket ¼” apart and one row on either side of shoulder seams ¼” from seam. CUTTING DIAGRAM One Garment 2 back pieces 4 front pieces 1 back inner lining 2 front inner linings INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING Pin or baste back inner lining on one back piece and front inner linings on each of the two front pieces. Seam fronts and back together at shoulders on lining side. Lay on table with lining side down. Seam remaining fronts and back together at shoulders. With seam side up, place on top of pieces already sewed together. Pin or baste around outside edges and across shoulder seams. Stitch ½” from edge leaving bottom open for turning. Turn inside out. Pin or baste ½” seam at bottom an stitch all around jacket close to edge and again ¼” from first stitching. Stitch once on either side of shoulder seam ¼” from seam. Lay pattern on garment and mark quilting lines. Stitch over markings. Sew Chapter label and size tag on inside back at neck edge. Fold neatly with long back ends to the inside and tie in bundles in groups of five. A small supply of patterns is available for loan to Chapters. 67900
