Show CHILD’S KNITTED SUIT Three-year-old reason (refugee from Alasce Lorraine) why so many volunteers elect to turn out knitted suits Equipment Needed: Yarn-4/14 (medium weight), ¼ to ½ pound (depending on the size made), of any color not too bright. Needles-two needles to fit the Red Cross Needle Gauge marked for socks and medium-weight sweaters. Needles slightly smaller may be used to advantage for ribbing. Elastic-1/2 to 3/4 –yard in length, 1/2-inch in width. Scale: 7 stitches to the inch, 9 rows to the inch. Make a sample to find out how many stitches are required for you to knit an inch.
