Show General Instructions: Always join new yarn at end of row. Never knot or splice yarn in middle of row. These knitting directions are given as a guide. Other simple sweater instructions may be used so long as the garment is the proper size and of correct proportions. These instructions may be varied by using a circular needle (adjusting the directions accordingly), using four needles for making the cuffs, and other changes desired by the individual knitter, so long as the finished garment is accurate.
